USA response to Cold War Concerns

• Joint Chief of staff
• The National Security Council - advises President of matters concerning defense
• The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) - espionage and intelligence collection (external)
• FBI - Federal Bureau (internal)
• MI5 and MI6 - British
• KGB - Russia

Summary

There were many fears and concerns during this period such as, communist uprisings and counter revolutions. Because of these concerns and fears the USA had the CIA involved.
