• Tradition in China gave new rulers "Mandate from Heaven"
• Democratic Centralism - Total obedience to the leader (Leninist model)
• The First Plan (5 year plan) - Some aid from USSR Emphasis on heavy industry
• Like Russia there was a form of collectivization called APC's (Agricultural Producer Co-Operatives)

Summary

Founder of the CCP. He created the five year plan which was based on heavy industry and people working instead of machines. He also formed the APC which combined little farms into one big one: collectivization.
