Summary
Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. George Bush Sr. placed sanctions on Iraq to pull out and up to 30 countries had joined in a coalition against Iraq and some Arab countries. US made sure that Israel would not join and Kuwait had then liberated after four days. Bush didn't remove Saddam which is when Saddam tried to get Israelis involved by firing SCUD missiles at them with a threat of poison and gas.
